Haitian Mission Report
Pascal Permis

I had the privilege to attend the directors' training in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I learned a great deal about what my role is as mission director, and I am very excited with the opportunity to serve with a group of people who have desire to serve God, and who are enthusiastic about doing his work.

I had also the privilege to speak with many prospective Nazarene pastors, as well as young people who have great desire to start a new church, and other existing congregations who want to join the Church of the Nazarene.  Pray for guidance as talks and instructions are going on at this time

In addition to the above, I had the opportunity to travel to Binghamton, New York, where I preached on August 28, 2005 at the Ebenezer Church of the Nazarene, a Newstart that come into existence under the leadership of Dr. Saint Clair, pastor of Binghamton First Church, Pastor Leon Eliacin and the Upstate New York District Superintendent, Rev. Bill Carr. We praise God for the concerted effort of our brothers and sisters in the First Church of Binghamton, the leadership of that district to help this NewStart.

Pray for this new work to move forward as they are expressing great desire to do something great for God in that part of New York. Upstate New York is a unique place.  Many Haitian families are now contemplating that area to move to and to raise their family.  Pray for the church to be ready and proactive to present the gospel to all.
